Press Release: Yoga for Work

Online yoga specialists The Frog Project launch new Yoga for Work service

The Frog Project’s new service provides tailored yoga classes for business employees either in the office or in their own homes

Carrie and Martin Froggett, co-founders of Live Online Yoga company The Frog Project, have launched a new Yoga for Work package designed to help the well-being of business employees throughout the UK.

The Yoga for Work program is a new addition to The Frog Project, which regularly brings unlimited live online yoga classes to homes around the UK for only £20 per month.

Yoga for Work gives businesses the option to have one or two private corporate classes per week, or simply allow their employees unlimited access to The Frog Project’s existing live yoga classes.

Private classes are tailored to suit the business in question. They take place at a time that suits staff members and The Frog Project’s qualified teachers make classes suitable for all levels by offering a range of posture variations.

Carrie Froggett comments, “Since quarantine began, we’d seen people turning up to our regular classes and talking about how difficult they were finding working from home. They might not have the right desk set-up, or they’re trying to work and look after children, or they just miss the sense of community in the office. There are lots of studies showing the benefits of yoga for relieving stress and alleviating common health problems like back and neck pain. All of these issues have increased during the pandemic, so we wanted to provide a way to help employees to be more motivated, productive and happier at work. Our yoga classes can do that. And that’s a win-win for everyone!”

In addition to delivering the classes, The Frog Project supports businesses by assisting them in their communications to staff members and measuring the impacts of the classes.

Notes to editors:

The Frog Project was founded in 2015 by Carrie and Martin Froggett, a husband and wife team based in Scarborough, UK. The company’s ethos is that yoga should be available to people of any background, and with their team of four qualified teachers they run live online yoga classes that are accessible for anyone with a bit of space and a device that connects to the internet. The classes are rooted in classical yoga, suitable for beginners and without the use of yoga jargon that can be off-putting to newcomers.
